At Trading Journal, we are committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring your satisfaction with our trading portfolio management platform. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a refund within our specified timeframe.

Our Commitment: We want you to be completely confident in your investment tracking and portfolio management experience.

2. Eligible Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

Eligible
  • Pro subscription purchased within the last 30 days
  • Fewer than 50 transactions recorded in your portfolios
  • Less than 3 portfolios created
  • Minimal usage of Pro features
  • Technical issues that prevent platform usage
Not Eligible
  • More than 30 days since purchase
  • Extensive platform usage (50+ transactions)
  • Multiple portfolio creations and management
  • Significant use of analytics and reporting features
  • Abuse or violation of terms of service

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for your Pro subscription, please contact our customer support team within 30 days of your purchase:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • Account username
  • Subscription purchase date and transaction ID

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription purchase. Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to appear in your account after approval.

5. Refund Exclusions

Important: Refunds are not available in the following situations:
  • More than 30 days have passed since your Pro subscription purchase
  • You have extensively used the platform (recorded 50+ transactions or created multiple portfolios)
  • You have generated and downloaded multiple analytics reports
  • You have shared multiple portfolios or used advanced sharing features
  • Suspected fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy
  • Violation of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or violations of our terms of service.

6. Exceptions

We may consider refunds outside our standard policy in the following exceptional circumstances:

If you encounter persistent technical problems that prevent you from using essential platform features, despite our support team's assistance, we may consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.

If our Pro features or service descriptions materially misrepresent what is actually provided, you may be eligible for a refund regardless of usage.

In cases of prolonged service outages that significantly impact your ability to use the platform for portfolio management, we may offer prorated refunds or service credits.

7. Subscription Cancellation

Future Billing

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation does not automatically qualify you for a refund of current billing periods.

Access: You'll retain Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle.

Pro-rated Refunds

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial subscription periods. Monthly subscriptions are billed in full regardless of usage within the billing cycle.

Exception: Extended service outages may qualify for service credits.

8. Additional Terms

Important Disclaimers
  • No Investment Guarantee: Trading Journal is a portfolio tracking and management tool. We do not guarantee investment returns or trading success.
  • Data Retention: Upon refund processing, your account may be downgraded to Basic plan, but your data will be preserved according to plan limitations.
  • Policy Changes: We reserve the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website.
  • Final Decision: All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of Trading Journal management.
